BAKDES Bakdes was held from 3rd to 6th of Januari 2019. Sadly, I didn’t attend this important event because I wasn’t home yet. Therefore, I wanted to write down a little about why I didn’t attend BAKDES. I was in holiday from December 25th until January 6th, exactly the day the event ends. I asked my parents days earlier, but they said, “No, the committee said we can’t change the schedule ourselves or else you’ll be going home on your own.” I didn’t want to go home all by myself. I thought it was a bad idea since not only didn't have any benefits for myself but also affects to other members. At first the BAKDES’ event was held a week after mid term examinations, the school even gave us the formal paper of it, which means BAKDES will be held on December, right before I flew off to countries for holiday. I was really sure, but then all of sudden the school changed the date. I was shocked yet not sure because I heard the information just from whispers. And so here it came th
Passive Voice SYDNEY, Australia — The Queensland police have arrested a former strawberry industry worker for spiking strawberries with needles, a crime that fueled a nationwide scare that crippled Australia’s strawberry industry. The woman, a former supervisor at a strawberry farm in Queensland, was arrested Sunday and has been charged with seven counts of contamination of goods. The police say there was a “circumstance of aggravation,” meaning that if convicted, she faces up to 10 years in prison. The local news media identified her as My Ut Trinh, 50. “This has probably been one of the most trying investigations that I’ve been a part of,” Jon Wacker, a detective superintendent of the Drug and Serious Crime Group, said in a news conference on Monday. News that fruit was being tampered with first broke in September, after several people reported discovering needles in strawberries they had purchased. One 7-year-old girl bit into a contaminated strawberry but was not har
Letter of Recomendation Bandung, Maret 10th 2019 To: Prof. Alex Chamberlain Rector of University St. Andrews Saint Andrews, Scotland United Kingdom Dear Mr. Chamberlain, Recommending Tabina Kedana, a student of 3 Senior Highschools, for the past three years is a great pleasure for me. She is one of the sincere, versatile, and brilliant students because I have watched her for the past 3 years. She is punctual and perfectionist about her studies and assignments which place her above all. Her dependable and trustworthy nature, modesty and tactfulness came forward when she was crew member in our intercollegiate festival Students English Forum. As I tried to know more about her, I found that she was selected in English Debate during his school days. She has good atitude an
Edu Passion 2019 Edu Passion is an event from SMAN 3 Bandung. It's held once a  year in order to help students to pursue their career, goals, and what they wanted to be in future. This year is a little bit different from last year's Edu Passion, where Governor of Bandung, Ridwan Kamil, also attended this event. It was very interesting. I was one of the committee of this year's Edu Passion. It was quiet exhausted, but challenging and give me a new experience at the same time.  I had to go to school earlier than the other students. When another students arrived at school at 6, I must be there at 5. I didn't have enough sleep the day before, but it didn't stop me. The event was started around at 8am, means that everything should have been prepared before 8. There were many universities that was part of this event.  We--the committees--had a meeting earlier that morning. We talked about which stands should be in the corridor, etc. We also invited students from
My Career, My Goals I was born in November 2002. I have 2 siblings, one older brother and one younger sister. Being the 2nd child feels very protected and sometimes exhausted at the same time. Nevertheless I really am grateful for having a grownups brother and an innocent sister. I’m also not that person who always telling people what I’m going through, rather just sit still and keeping it aside. However when I do, it means I need people’s hands. I’m quite good at keeping people’s secret, so that bunch of people tells me about their ups and downs story. But I’m not that easy at interact with new people, so I guess that what my weakness is. Since not only watching historical and war movies, but also reading history and war books are my favorite things, I knew that I have a passion in learning another languages, besides English. My father once told me that in future, I’ll need another language, not just English. I’ve found that I have interest in learning German language or D
